Interviewer: Black history month you find…

Morgan Freeman: Ridiculous.

Interviewer: Why?

Morgan Freeman: You’re going to relegate my history to a month?

Interviewer: Oh, come on.

Morgan Freeman: What do you do with yours? Which month is white history month?

Interviewer: (pause) Well, I’m Jewish.

Morgan Freeman: Okay. Which month is Jewish history month?

Interviewer: There isn’t one.

Morgan Freeman: Oh, oh. Why not? Do you want one?

Interviewer: No.

Morgan Freeman: Right. I don’t either. I don’t want a black history month. Black history is American history.

Interviewer: How are we going to get rid of racism?

Morgan Freeman: Stop talking about it.

There are many causes I want to take the time out to lift and uphold but I find that to be very challenging to close to impossible for there are other things in the life that must take first priority. I’m not going to bite off more than I can chew nor am I going to be writing to an audience I feel has the hardest time changing and dealing with change… Yeah i’m talking to you 30 + people out there!
Individuals like to do what is most convenient for them. Why? It’s makes living that much easier. For example, an hour on a bus can be cut down to fifteen minutes in a car. Places like ‘Convenient stores’, fast food restaurants, pet grooming shops (for the pet lovers out there), and the prepared foods at your local grocery stores are just minutes away. Convenience is everywhere. It’s your television set, the desks at school, the treadmill at home, the coffee stand down the road, even your subscription to Cosmo, Billions of dollars have been spent in advertising, inventing, and improving convenience, so it must be good. Right?

Convenient foods are attractive for they are designed to be inexpensive, delicious and non-perishable. Unfortunately the ingredients chosen for products such as these are typically empty, high in sugars and fats. The list goes on.

Television is the ultimate entertainment. It is also how many receive local and national news. News coverage components range from Breaking news to Entertainment to Health & lifestyle. Do they cover everything on any given day? Impossible. They cover significant events and topics. Sometimes those events and topics aren’t very newsworthy. Let me explain.

On Twitter you obtain followers because you appeal to them. Competition between networks is similar. In order to attract and sustain viewers, you must, of course, serve your purpose well, but you also in some degree have to give the people what they want. You must look at what’s trending in society. Unfortunately what’s trending isn’t always important, and what’s important isn’t always recognized.

Living life earns you the right to keeping it as simple as possible. Convenience is the key and a trend among millions but convenience isn’t always healthy, trustworthy, or ethical.

To me, convenience isn’t always convenient at all.

That’s the word of the day.

What’s most important is often too easily forgotten

It featured the brave leader, Tommy Pickles. The tentative toddler, Chuckie Finster. The venturesome twin-infants, Phil and Lil DeVille. The vile and manipulative Angelica Pickles, and Angelica’s kind counterpart, Susie Carmichael.

At the age of five, a harsh reality was realized as I began to start paying close attention to my surroundings. What I saw was- for every Tommy, Chucky, Susie, Phil, and Lil, were two Angelicas; the world wasn’t as harmonious and pleasant as could be seen in the world of children cartoons.

At the age of five, I begin to see that not everyone always practiced the art of being kind, open, and patient

And at the age of five, I really didn’t care.

Things have since changed. I am no longer five. I believe that things ranging from the less extreme: not wanting your daughter to date a guy with blue hair to the extreme: war, stem from the inability to understand and demonstrate, tolerance. Teaching and displaying it can open many doors to a future brighter than the one we see right now.

Tolerance is kindness, open-mindedness, and patience. Its a great trait and characteristic to have.

That’s the word of the day.
